Clayton McIlrath
Founder & Developer
Clay has a passion for business and technology spends a lot of time learning both. He started Chosen in 2008 and built up the company with hard work and help from his peers. Present day, he plays dual roles of business development and programming.
When he’s not coding, Clay loves action sports and spending time with his wife and 2 boys. He loves being close to the mountains, and spends as much time there no matter what the weather. Snowboarding, skateboarding, photography, and guitar are just a few of the hobbies of this adventurer.
Justin Nowak
Partner & Management
Justin is our chameleon; managing sales, administration and accounting equally well. He’s been involved with Chosen since fall of 2009, leveraging his business management and sales experience to make our clients smile!
When he is not working (which his fiance says is not very often) he likes to play and watch sports. He is an avid Minnestoa Vikings fan and also follows his Calgary Flames and Toronto Raptors. His pride and joy is his son and he is dedicated to being the best dad he can.
Nick Hemstreet
Management & Outreach
Nick is our most recent addition to the Chosen team. Living in Colorado, Nick has the advantage to be in close proximity to both Clay and Samantha, as well as be in Boulder which is one of the most innovative tech cities in the US.
With four years of managerial experience, Nick focuses on keeping the gears moving effectively and efficiently by monitoring culture as well as documenting processes. He also does outreach with other businesses and entrepreneurs, taking part in local events to network and spread our name.
Mark Grafton
Project Manager
Mark was part of the original group that conceptualized Chosen, dedicating hundreds of hours to see the company grow and without him, we would be far from where we are now.
Mark is the get-it-done guy for Chosen. As our lead project manager, he overlooks a project from lead generation to final hand-off, making sure that questions are answered and tasks meet deadlines. He’s not your typical manager though.. he goes above and beyond tasks and deadlines and takes initiative to learn and teach.
Samantha McIlrath
Office Manager
Samantha joined Chosen full-time in early 2010. As Clay’s wife, she understands and knows how the business should flow and does a great job managing the tedious tasks and communication. Samantha has helped Chosen get organized and is often looking for new ways to get involved and help grow the company.
Book keeping, account management, collecting invoices, running errands and keeping morale high are just a few of Samantha’s day-to-day tasks.
Zack Perdue
Web Architect
As our main developer, Zack stays buried in code day in and day out and still loves it! He is currently learning the ins and outs of WordPress 3 and Magento integration while learning from the team to grow his own business Kilobids.
Zack does custom application development using framework such as Codeignitor or naked PHP. Zack is also a phenomenal front-end developer and integration master, working with systems like WordPress and Magento on a daily basis.
